Our new school is changing lives

As of January 10th, 2022, Mary Queen of Peace School is officially open! This school provides a safe environment for our children’s education. Our school has four interior classrooms where students are taught reading, writing, and math by our wonderful teachers.

We are working to provide our students with the materials that can help them learn. You can help them with your donations!

Most of our student are orphans or vulnerable children. Mary Queen of Peace School gives them a safe environment to grow in knowledge and spirit. The foundations these children build at our school will help them to avoid poverty in adulthood.

Thanks to your support, we are able to provide out students with new uniforms!

Coming to school also gives the children a chance to receive a full meal. No learning opportunity is wasted! At meals, we teach our student food preparation skills and sanitary practices, such as washing your hands before you eat.

With the difficulties our students face, one of the most important opportunities we offer our students is the chance to play and enjoy being a kid.

We’re not done yet!

The completion of the school is a great achievement, but it is not enough to accommodate all of the children that we help.

The children are many and the four classrooms are not enough. Since we are supporting more orphans in school, we need more financial support for their welfare, our teachers welfare, and our school materials.

Our next steps:

  • Construction of four more classrooms
  • Building a residence for our teachers
  • Construction of Dormitories for our orphaned students

We still have much to do for the Kamwengye District in Uganda, but we can get there with your help! Please consider sending us a donation via our American sister charity, Foundations of Jesus The Divine Mercy.
